The first step in trying to reduce red eyes in your pictures is to check and make sure that your camera has a setting in it for red eye reduction. Most of the current DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) and point and shoot cameras have this function and it does make quite a difference in the pictures you take.

A single bare light bulb will create a hard light directly on your subject. At the same time, it creates a soft light by bouncing off the walls, floor and ceiling. The lighter those areas are, the more soft light will be created. If one of the walls was white and the others dark, then most of the soft light would come from the direction of the white wall.

There have already been some games released that use the balance board to do things like ski, snowboard, skateboard, and cheerlead, but i have yet to try them out, so they cannot make my top 10.

For portraits, a frontal light will make people appear less wrinkled and happier. As the light moves to the side, they will look more serious. Light from above is seldom flattering and light from below makes people look downright weird. If you like landscape photography, try to visit your favourite spots at different times of the day and see for yourself the complete transformation that the angle of light makes to a photograph.

Book as early as possible, say 12 months from your day. This way you won’t have to worry about the other clients who might also need him on the same day as your wedding.

You fill in the shadows by using anything large, and preferably white, that the hard light is hitting. This will be a source of soft light and, if you keep it on the opposite side of your subject to the hard light, it will fill in the shadows, allowing you to photograph the details. It is always a good idea to take a reflector with you (anything large and white) when shooting on a sunny day.

An understanding of the source of light is important because different sources have to be shot differently and with different settings. Ask yourself where the light is coming from. Is it coming from a primary light source such as the sun or an artificial flash? Is the light coming from a reflected source such as off a wall or a reflector?

Think about the things you want seen in your picture. High quality pictures will highlight a particular feature of the subject in your photo. Don’t attempt to include too much. To create a general impression of an object, shoot a series of photos, instead of a single detail oriented photo.

You build your tone through your photography. For example dark tones use harsh shadows to portray a sad or empty mood. However, light and smooth textures convey open and spacy feelings.

Rather than simply shooting whatever happens to be there, take a proactive approach to arranging your subjects. Take charge and let the people you are taking pictures of know exactly what you want them to do. When you do this, you will find that your pictures will come out much better than if you just take a picture of whatever happens to be going on.

Use a tripod to capture the most clear and precise landscape shots. Using a steady base under the camera can be great for landscapes, since you can adjust the settings without worrying about the camera shaking.

For me the biggest hope is that I can produce images that stand out enough that there will still be people and companies that are willing to pay a reasonable amount for them.whether they find them through an agency or with internet searches, or through some yet-to-be-determined vehicle.
